Emma is a visionary freelance photographer, stylist, creative director, and brand consultant. She’s known for her free-flowing creativity, contagious energy, artistic eye, and stellar communication skills.
I am a storyteller. I believe in creativity, in the beauty of spontaneity, and in doing all things with passion. Once I realized my job was to bear witness to love and celebration-- I was all in. I lean heavily on my sense of humor and love for people in my work. On a wedding day I am creative, confident, focused and professional but still having fun. My photojournalism background leads me to capture candid, authentic moments so when you look back at your wedding day, you see images that make you relive the emotions all over again.
I’ve always felt drawn in by humanity in all its beautiful diversity. As a kid, I dreamed of traveling the world, documenting humanity the way I saw in my grandfather’s National Geographic magazines. But after studying Fine Art Photography at Indiana Wesleyan University, lifestyle photography—weddings, couples, families, restaurants,—just kept coming my way. Now I’ve been doing it for more than eight years!
We're Katrina and Andrew and we make up the team at Sedona Bride. We're not your average wedding photographers ... we've spent the last 15 years photographing amazing weddings with one goal in mind, to photograph it like it were our own. We join in the exciting wedding journey with couples that want to remember the laughs, the tears, the unexpected moments that make a wedding and life unique. We believe life is an adventure and full of spontaneous moments that are meant to be cherished and shared.
Ever since I was a small child I have been passionate about art and creating something beautiful. After shooting my first wedding in 2007 I fell in love with the idea of creating beautiful memorable images that will last a lifetime. Whether it's a new born baby, a gorgeous family, or a blushing bride on her wedding day I have developed an unmistakable fondness of the moments I get to watch and capture through the lens.
