Downtown Midcentury Remodel
I was approached to remodel a 1930’s home in downtown Flagstaff. This property had been a rental for years and had very few renovations. The owners wanted to bring it back to it’s original charm and rent it is a chic air b n b.
We gutted the kitchen and opened a wall up in between the dining room and kitchen to give a little more space. We added gray lower cabinets with white Caserstone countertops. We kept existing builtins in both the kitchen and living room and added a splash of color and glam with navy and gold patterned wallpaper on the back. The bathroom got black and white cement tile on the floor and white subway tile with a gray accent liner. We painted the doors black and kept the walls a cool gray with white trim. New furnishings and accessories completed the space.
