When the owner of Historic Barrel + Bottle asked me to help design her wedding I was thrilled. Carole is an amazing business woman who is creative and driven and has created an amazing brand with Historic Brewing. Having worked with her and her family on all three of their tasting rooms, I have gotten to know her well and understand her fun and eclectic style, so of course there were all kinds of fun touches and surprises through out her day.
Carole & Jeff really wanted a relaxed and fun soiree with family & friends. The ceremony & reception took place at Indian Gardens Park. I love that Carole's brother & best friend was her Man of Honor. Jeff & Carole opted to walk down the aisle together versus having her mother & father give her away. The bride and her friends made thousands of paper crane garlands which hung in trees and added a magical backdrop for the ceremony in Oak Creek Canyon. Long family style tables dressed in white linens, roses, succulents & gold candles set the stage. The groom owns and is the amazing artist behind Mayware Ceramics made all of the favors, custom wine cups. Dancing, drinking and fun where the theme for the evening. A flash mob surprised the groom with a recreation of Michael Jackson's, Beat It. A silent disco was a fantastic finale to the evening. The day was perfectly captured by the amazing Betsi Ewing!
